CableLabs® has released DOCSIS® 4.0, which allows for an increased amount of traffic on the access network by introducing full-duplex communication in the downstream spectrum of a cable operator’s broadcast. DOCSIS 4.0 opens the door for operators like you to provide symmetrical cable modem speeds in the range of 1 to 10 Gb per second in both upstream and downstream communications.
